While exploring nature and human, I discovered natural dyeing—
a method of coloring fabric with plant leaves, roots, vegetable waste, and more.
Natural dye has been practiced all over the world for thousands of years, it remains accessible today using everyday materials like vegetable waste, coffee grounds, flowers and tea leaves after brewing.. -
In Japan, people have long used local plants to dye everyday items such as kimono, tenugui towel and noren (fabric dividers) etc.
Their lives were closely connected to nature and the seasons—using cherry blossoms in spring, persimmons and chestnuts in autumn—to bring seasonal colors into daily life.

Bringing nature into harmony with daily life, connecting traditional Japanese techniques to distant Europe, and carrying forward a spirit that has lasted for thousands of years into the present.
